we're going to Jackson

In mid-July we took a camping trip with my family up to Jackson Hole. Look past the squinty-eyed people in the foreground, just look at those mountains! I think the Grand Tetons are some of the prettiest you'll ever see.

Throwing rocks (again) into Colter Bay, Jackson Lake.

The usual tourist photos...

We are so happy we were able to join in on the trip, and extra-grateful for the hotel room we had because Jane was running a fever and not sleeping well (teeth). Thank you, thank you Dad & Mom.

Not pictured - Tracie & Casey (whoops), the zipline rides (Tracie's camera), the Chuckwagon Dinner, and a lot more I missed. I wish I could post the video of Jane riding the zipline at Hale's ranch with Brad, she looooved it until it bounced her back at the end, and my Grandma did the zipline too! She's up for anything, really.

"I love thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills!"

The mountains!! Oh my goodness. So beautiful. Did you actually sleep in a tent with Jane? Or just the hotel? I kind of can't imagine ever going camping with Q until he's about 13.
